![]() Otis Elevator Korea New President Kenneth Lloyd Mahler takes office Expecting to exceed potential in maintenance and exports 2012/04 ![]() Otis Elevator Korea held an inauguration ceremony for Kenneth Lloyd Muller on the morning of February 27, 2014 at the Women's Plaza in Daebang-dong, Seoul. The inauguration ceremony consisted of an inaugural speech by new President Kenneth Muller, followed by bouquet presentation by employee representatives, congratulatory remarks by union representatives and partner company representatives, cutting of a congratulatory rice cake, and a video of congratulatory remarks by employees. In addition, more than 200 people, including the entire management team, headquarters employees, union representatives, and partner representatives, attended the ceremony to congratulate the new president. In his inaugural speech, Mr. Kenneth Mahler said, "Otis Elevator Korea has many opportunities for growth, and I am confident that as the world's leading elevator company in Korea and the world, we will achieve more than our potential by improving customer value in the areas of maintenance and overseas exports." He added, "The enthusiasm of our employees is the biggest contributor to our growth, and I will emphasize communication and meet with employees through various channels." A graduate of the University of New South Wales, Australia, and an MBA from the University of Wollongong, Australia, Mr. Mahler joined Otis in 1983 and has held key positions in Otis Australia and Otis U.S. headquarters, most recently as President of Otis Australasia. *Australasia: A designation for the entire South Pacific archipelago, including Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea. |
