The exhibition for 'The day of Construction Neo-Technology' hosted by Construction Neo-Technology Association of Korea(KCNET) and sponsored by Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime(MLTM) and Korea Institute of Construction & Transportation Technology Evaluation and Planning(KICTEP) was held from 27th April to 29th April in aT center located in Kang nam, Seoul.
In this exhibition, companies having not only new technologies of construction but also environment·energy related technologies, green certification, patent technologies were participated in.
Among these, VT Korea co.,ltd.(CEO Yoon byung hee), solution provider for the elevator for skyscrapers, showed the total solution for elevator, environment·energy related technologies. They already participate as consulting company on the construction of Cham-sil Lotte super tower and plan to concrete their position through this exhibition.
Mr.Yoon Byung Hee said “Participating in the Cham-sil Lotte super tower project means we have high enough technologies and equipment that need to carry out that project.” and added with emphasis “Especially, we think we are in the special level on consulting”.
They signed MoU with Peters research company, English company renowned for providing skyscraper total solution last 2007.
VT Korea have been making carrier on the business of skyscraper total solution from 2008. Based on this carrier, they acquire many knowhow on high rising buildings.
In domestic market, they participated in Chamsil Lotte super tower project, busan Lotte project, Haewoondae resort project, Sang-sam-dong DMC project, Chungrangri 5th area project. Also, in world market, they join in Vietnam, China market. Especially, VT Korea have enough technologies to carry out most project independently so that they plan to carry out Sang-am-dong DMC project and Chungrangri 5th area project with only their own skill.

Domestic consulting business is on the stage of toddler, but dumping?
But, Mr. Yoon expressed the hardness of domestic consulting business. Different from leading countries that already having formative consulting system, consulting business in Korea is not easy because of no concrete system.
Mr. Yoon said “At first, most companies in Korea regarded consulting is free and we did it free because of advertisement but they expect free consulting until now”.
Also he said “Elevator business is most dangerous category of overrun. Now, most elevator parts are produced in China and there are few engineers in Korea. So, consulting is need for safety”.
And he said “Now, the level of consulting business in Korea is just beginning stage. It's need to be developed and recognized as independent field of business. But there is dumping in this market. Consulting is kind of knowledge. Knowledge is very valuable asset. So, the market will be continued this way, there is no smart person want to work in this field” and added “To prevent this, government role is very important. Government tow the business and related companies endeavor to settle down the consulting culture then many people understand the value of consulting. VT Korea will do the core role of that”.
