As industrial development, the number of automobile is increased but it brought environmental problem also. To solve the environmental problem, leading countries vitalize bicycle as commute methods. In Japan, illegal bicycle parking have been social problem for 10 years but expensive estate leave small choice to solve it.
Large city have a same problem in Korea and bicycle parking lot is hot issue now.
Among these, Daegu city only have 4% capacity of parking bicycle(26,272 bicycle parking area among 690,000 bicycles). On this, government revised laws on vitalizing using bicycle to secure 20% of parking capacity of bicycle on each city so the bicycle parking market is boosted to 700 billions KRW volume.

Low power consumption tire rolling type, easy for every users
On this situation, Energy park co.,ltd. showed low power consumption bicycle parking lots applying solar power. This parking lot is composed of hanger and automatic parking system.
Especially, low power consumption tire rolling type park without stop and easy for every users.
This parking lot is chipper than existing parking lot but it have good space efficiency. This parking lot can park 2.28 bicycles in 1㎡ (hanger type can park 0.92~1.89 bicycles in 1㎡). Also, automatic parking lot cost 5 millions KRW per each bicycle and need electric power. But the parking lot low the electric power with solar panel.
Low the installation cost and down the electric cost, Energy park co.,ltd. applied patent on solar powered bicycle parking system last October and started sales now.
Recently Energy park co.,ltd. plan to install a parking lot(for 655 bicycle parking) in an university in Seoul as donation payment way. Donation payment way is donate parking lot and maintenance but donator have right to attach advertisement board outside of parking lot.
A person from company said “Last year, the advertisement market is 6.7 trillions KRW even though depression, and outdoor advertisement took 14.46% of market share(92 billions KRW)”, “If install a parking lot for 1500 bicycles, then expected profit of outdoor advertisement will be 7 billions KRW”.
