…Applying KIOSK system for the first time

As opening of Kyeong-bang timesquare (CEO Kim dam, hereunder refer to as Timesquare) large shopping complex located in Yeong-deung-po, Soeul, nearby merchant area are vitalized now.
The timesquare built on 370,000㎡ area is composed of department stores, large mart, wedding hall, movie theater and restaurants. It is multi-purpose complex started to build from June 2006 and opened September 2009.
Kyeong-bang co. placed order and GS construction co. carried out construction of timesquare. All shops are sold out in the timeqaure and this is very opposite to the other place. Even the timesquare vitalized nearby market chain now. Accordingly, the timesquare need effective parking management system. Amano Korea(CEO Jeon myung jin, hereunder refer to as Amano) take the construction and management of the parking system in the timesquare. And the effective parking system they run is pulling attraction now. The parking system is composed of 3rd floor ~ 5th floor with 1,753 cars parking area. Precisely, 3rd floor have 657 cars parking area, 4th floor have 547 cars parking area and 5th floor have 549 cars parking area. And the parking system have 4 entrances. Also the parking system is mixed with non-manned and maned parking machines. 80 Amano steps working in the parking lots. They run parking management system, and the system include detecting system of location of car, car guiding system with ultrasonic wave, invisible supervision system and parking fee discounting system. A person from the parking system sad “During weekday, 3rd~4th floor are fully occupied and weekend, all area is fully occupied” and added “We guide the customers holding fix period ticket to the 5th floor to secure area”. 
Especially in the parking system, KIOSK terminal units for parking location tracking are applied. When car is parked, cameras in parking lot detect the location and send information such as location of vehicle·plate number·image to data base server so that car owner input the plate number to find out where it is. In the timesquare, 50 units of KIOSK terminals are installed.
Parking guiding system find empty space and. Ultrasonic sensors are installed every parking space for checking there is car or not. Also, boards installed in parking way show empty place. Central operation center mark long term parking car and monitor parking status at every hour·every day to manage parking system effectively. Meanwhile, in the rush time, there are many accidents in the parking lots. On this, the parking system have 4 units CCTV for supervising invisible area.

30% domestic market share, this year's target is 50 billions KRW sales
The un-manned parking system have cost demerit but recently it gain popularity.  Among these, Amano system is outstanding.
Kim jung-geun, director of Amano, sad “In Korea, more than 400 companies make parking system but most of them are very small. And around 10 companies can make un-manned parking system and full-system”.
In this year, Amano is 16th anniversary of foundation and they achieve 30% domestic market share. Not only introducing Japanese technologies but also they added their own research, Amano try to export their own model to Japan headquarter. Last year's sale was marked 34.6 billions KRW and increased 30% compare to the year before. 
Mr. Kim sad “The need for un-manned system is increased. This is caused by vitalization of parking business from 2006” and added “We expect 50 billions total sales this year. Especially, start from the sale of security gate system, we plan to expand the sale of un-manned system”. He also sad “We also focus on sale of 'BIKRO' that is un-manned bicycle parking system”.
