Bumper To Bumper Traffic In Big City Area, 'Pass'
Decided Measure For Improving Broad Traffic of Hwa-sung, Nam yang New Town

MLMT deliberated ‘Committee of broad traffic of big city area' on 3 big civil construction such as Hwa-sung, Nam-yang new town and Bi-bong housing development project then confirmed it last 30th July and have been carrying out.
Nam-yang new town city development and Hwa-sung/Bi-bong housing development cost 1391 billions KRW in 3,918,000 ㎡ area for providing houses for 62,000 civilians. The measure for broad traffic is building 11 roads(38.5km) and improve 9 cross-roads with 130,6 billions KRW.
Because of new development project, traffic is expected to overflow on number 313 road so, 3,7km part of that roads will be expanded from 4 lanes to 6 lanes, and 1.2km part of number 77 road also be expanded to 4 lanes.
Also, support construction budget of 6.9km part of number 77 road also be expanded from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, and make 19.9㎞ public transportation line connecting rail stations between Suwon and Incheon. And improve cross-roads of number 69 roads and Song-san entrance road.

Total budget is 2,400 billions KRW, develop housing area and improve broad traffic
Development project of Hwa-sung/Bong-dam 2nd area is providing houses for 29,000 civilians with 880 billions KRW in 1,438,000㎡ area. The measure for improving broad traffic is building 4 road(17.4km), improving cross-roads(9 spots, including 6 spots in Song-san~Cheon-Cheon road) with 178.7 billions KRW budget.
National roads number 43 pass north and south of Hyang-nam 1st, 2nd area, Bong-dam 1st, 2nd area, Ho-mae-sil area, which under housing development. And the road is expected to be congested so new 3.5km length away route(6 lines) will be constructed.
Also, according to the development plan of Hyang-nam and Bong-dam area, 1.3km of number 43 roads of entrance of Bong-dam IC will be expanded from 4 lines to 8 lines (4 under road), support construction budget of 9.9km part of Song-san~Cheon-Cheon road also be expanded to 4 lanes.
According to construction of Song-san~Cheon-Cheon road, except 6 inter road spots, Bong-dam IC, in front of Hyup-sung college, Sang-ri cross road are improved and transfer facility will be built in Bong-dam station.
The project of distribution complex of South-east Seoul and Mun-jeong city development is for providing houses for 58,000 civilians with 1,895.9 billions KRW in 1,109,000㎡ area(complex 561,000㎡, area 548,000㎡) by 2010 and 2011 each. For this, 4 new roads(17.45km) will be constructed with 539.3 billions KRW.
To disperse entrance traffic, 1.02㎞ of Bam-go-gae road to complex will be expanded 60 6 lines, and disperse Song-pa broad way,
1.96㎞ of Tan-Cheon road will be expanded from 2 lines to 6 lines. For this, 1.18㎞ of Hun-in reung road will be expanded 6 lines to 10 lines.
Also, disperse Jang-ji IC traffic, build new 1.29㎞ road with 4 lines in left side road of Tan-Cheon, and improve cross road of Jang-ji bridge and Song-pa IC.
