Build Convenient Transfer System Among Railway, Bus And Subway

In front of Seoul station, new concept, biggest in Korea 'transient park' will be built. Seoul city had opened traffic restriction commission with Korea Railway Corporation, Seoul Metro Policy Agency and so on 6 time last year to set up plan to build 'transient park' to meet the status of Seoul station and will complete the construction by next April.
Now, 10 more bus stations are scattered nearby Seoul station and it takes maximum 12 minute to transfer subway station to bus. For solving this, the new park not only have transfer function but also rest place with green park, so passenger can use tranfer system very convenient.
A person from Seoul city explained “The park is a new attempt to compose environmental friendliness space and meet with the status of Seoul city”.
When the construction finished, 200,000 passengers using Seoul station can easily transfer KTX, railway, subway and bus, also reduce time from 10~12 minutes to 3 minutes, and new crosswalk between Daewoo building ↔ Seoul station will be made to improve pedestrian environment.
Also, transfer passage from the bus lane at the center of the road to the station and escalators will be installed so that passengers don't need to cross road to take subway or KTX train, and rebuild taxi stops on the station to improve whole traffic system around the station.
Looking at the improvement plan of building the transfer park and traffic system, ▲Integrating scattered bus stations in front of Seoul station to link 87 lanes 700 buses with 4 bus stops ▲Under passageway(width 6m, length 37m) from bus stops to subway station ▲Crossway between Daewoo building and Seoul station, and green space ▲Rebuild taxi stops on the station.
