Ranked 1st in Brand Power (K-BPI) Elevator Category 2012/04 ![]() Hyundai Elevator (CEO Han Sang-ho, www.hyundaielevator.co.kr) announced on April 19 that it was ranked No. 1 in the elevator category in the 2012 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). In the survey, Hyundai Elevator received the highest ratings for brand awareness as well as brand loyalty, which refers to image, availability, and preference, and scored 752.6 points in the brand power composite index, surpassing the second (541.6 points) and third (275.7 points) place companies by a wide margin. The Korean Brand Power Index (K-BPI) is a brand evaluation model first developed in Korea in 1998 by the Korea Ability Association Consulting, and the survey was conducted over a three-month period from October 2011 to January 2012 through one-on-one interviews with 10,700 consumers aged 15 to 60 years old, male and female, living in the Seoul area and six metropolitan cities. "It is especially meaningful to be ranked No. 1 by consumers in the domestic market, where major global companies are competing fiercely," said Han Sang-ho, CEO of Hyundai Elevator. "We will reward consumers with high-quality products and services that prioritize their safety." |
