Korea Transportation Safety Authority(hereunder refer to as TS) announced that TS carried out the education program '2nd parking security training' from 6th to 8th last month on related laws and parking facilities' for 3 days.
This training was provided for who want to be hired as security guard and parking manager older than 55 years. This train is provided 4~6 times a year from 2004 and mechanical parking facility was included from 2009.
Jang Yung Soo, instructor, section chief of safety inspection, said “50% of the broad casted accident is caused by man riding on the lift” and added “But, no man is forbidden to ride on parking facility.”
He said “If there is no accident, it will be best job. But there are so many causes that we can't imagine and make accidents” and added “How can we cope with? is important”.
And continued to the explanation of machine parking facilities with motion pictures and images.
He told the very important notice that parking manager must know ▶Verifying automobile specification ▶Checking door and open only when automobile in and out ▶If facility down, you must call maintenance company ▶Attach notification in front of parking facility when checking·maintenance·inspection is under progress.
One of trainee said “Parking management job is not familiar to me but I can understand machine parking facility now” and added “I will not be confused when I get the job”.
On the other hands, training for security parking manager is confused with security guard and parking management so it is combined from this year. who want to have a training course, contact elder person hire center.
