Korea Elevator Expo¡¦Base for gathering East Asia companies ¡°Plan to host 100 elevator companies within 5 years¡±
Korea Elevator Safety Institute(president Kim nam duk, hereunder refer to as KESI) signed MOU with AMB company that is exhibition hosting company mainly for East asia including Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam on hosting asia companies, advertisement, exchanging information and so on for Korea Elevator Expo. starting from 15 December. AMB hosted 'Lift asia 2010' exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 15 last month and the company not only host elevator related but also construction, electronic, electric, security system and fire fighting field. For 48 hours negotiation, both parties signed on agreement under participation of Mr. Andrew Sorrow, CEO of AMB, Kim chul hee, chief officer of KESI and Mishell ha, chief officer of AMB in Malaysia. On this, COEX, co-hosting body of Korea Elevator Expo., evaluated that this made important stage for participating domestic and asia companies in that exhibition. The MOU include cooperation on hosting asia companies, consulting and providing information on procedure. Mr. Kim nam duk, president of KESI, said ¡°With this MOU, we can host East asia companies to the exhibition¡± and added ¡°Within 5 years, we will host more than 100 elevator companies located asia and make Korea Elevator Expo as world renowned one¡±. On the other hands, KESI and COEX plan to establish detailed plan for hosting and supporting participants. KESI expect that the 1st Elevator expo will gather more than 100 companies.
