Step(Science Technology Electric Progress) company located in Shanghai in China was founded on 1995 and is under control of ISO9001·ISO14001 certified by TUV and produce their products according to CE, EN81, CSA, NRTL regulation. Doctor, master degree engineers are participated in R&D activity. Step company introduced german technologies and grafted industry·scholar·institute system for developing control panel and inverter technologies. Step company achieved national technologies and 110 patents through these. Base on this, Step company develop, produce and sale elevator control and driving system. Also they produce elevator inverter, embedded driving CP, energy recycling system, door machine inverter, elevator control system, group control system, remote monitoring system, cotrol panel of elevator & escalator.
Recently, they focus on energy saving system. So, they developed destination designated group control system, energy saving inverter already. These achievements are highly evaluated in China. Smart Com II network and intelligent elevator control system are also recognized as new national important products and inverter developing project is selected as one of torch plan(The industry development plan for high new technologies drived by China republic from 1998).

Plan to knock on korea market…soon visualized
Now, Step company have 23 branch offices and service centers in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Kwangju and so on, and they export to 30 nations such as German, England, Canada, Japan, North america and so on. For Korea market, they sell it to elevator companies that export to Korea.
Mr. Gong Zhaokun, vice president of Step, said “Korea market have a good atmosphere  and conditions so it is very important base camp of north asia region. And Step company also give a good impression in Korea market”.
On the other hands, the total sales of Step company last year was 73.5 millions USD including 590 thousands USD export. Step manufacture 30,000 units of control panel, 50,000 units of boards and  50,000 units of inverter.
